Treehouse Winchester nearing completion

The Treehouse Winchester is almost there, looking forward to seeing it finished

Now Complete, this house has three sides of different character to address the different character of the surrounding gardens. Slate, Cedar and white render give a retro appearance. The corner window seat is framed in thermally broken steel to prevent cold bridging. The layout is that of an upside down house, the three bedroom run along the front with the main split level vaulted living space above. The 'crest' of the roof we call the 'peacock feathers'. A completely unnecessary but completely necessary architectural element that distinctively gives the house its unique personality. It looks amazing when approaching along the road.
