Good architecture starts with a good conversation
I am a highly experienced residential architect who believes the best results come from listening carefully, explaining things clearly and working closely with clients throughout the process. I take on the role of design project manager for you, coordinating each design stage, managing input from other consultants and moving the project towards construction.
From our first conversation to the final stages of construction, you will deal directly with me. I bring creative thinking, in depth planning and technical knowledge and a calm, friendly approach to every project, while keeping a close eye on your budget.
On average, my fees are 20% lower than those of other practices, and I review costs at every stage to help you secure the best possible price.
You will not be passed between different members of a large team. I remain personally involved from start to finish

How we can help create your new home
From early ideas and planning applications to detailed drawings and support during construction, I offer clear, practical guidance throughout your project.
Clear guidance from first ideas to construction
Every project is different, but the process should always feel clear. I will explain what is needed, what happens next and when key decisions need to be made. My service follows the RIBA Plan of Work, a recognised framework covering each stage of a building project from the earliest discussions through to construction, handover and use.
Creative, professional and genuinely easy to work with
Clients value my ideas and experience, but they also appreciate my patience, clear communication and personal involvement throughout their projects.
Residential architecture projects across Brighton, Sussex and the South East
I work on homes in urban, coastal and rural settings, including conservation areas, listed buildings and sites within the South Downs National Park.
Whether the project involves a sensitive historic property, a tight city site or a new home in the countryside, I bring my local planning knowledge and a practical understanding of how to respond to the setting.
Have an idea for your home? Get in touch with me
You do not need to have everything worked out. You just need to send a few details about your property, your ideas and your likely budget, and I will suggest a sensible next step.
Your first conversation is a chance to ask questions, understand what may be possible and decide whether I am the right architect for your project.
