I was, and continue to be thrilled with my extension which houses my new kitchen and dining room. From my very basic ideas Paul elevated the design to a whole new level, considering everything from the way we wanted to live in the space, the practical consideration in a kitchen (including the desired appliances) and the aesthetics both internally and externally.
Where I had started with a very practical extension, with Paul's design I ended up with a truly beautiful space. His input on everything from the roof design to the windows to the layout of the space and how it would blend with the existing structure was creative and practical. Dawn S
My requirements for an architect and program manager are in no particular order: 1) punctual and able to meet agreed deadlines, 2) easy to work with, 3) comes with ideas not just technical know how, 4) able to empathise with my individual taste and choices, 5) able to strike a good balance between program manager & supplier.
