We believe strongly in high quality creative design with a sustainable approach, tailored to the brief and our clients needs, tastes and budget.
Each project and client is different and this makes designing for our many clients exciting.
We usually have a number of projects we are involved in on at any one time, ranging from new build eco-houses, to contemporary, traditional or classical extensions, basement and loft conversions, contemporary unique garden office designs, and historic detailing for listed buildings.
We provide a full traditional design service, developing creative designs for planning applications and technical drawings for building control applications.
We can advise on procurement routes (building contracts) and can send tenders to builders for building quotes, and provide contract administration services during the construction stages though to practical completion.
Equally we have worked on a number of projects lead by builders, project managers and design and build companies and are always happy to team up with other building professionals to provide a full design and build service.
We act as Lead Designer on all projects and coordinate specialist consultants, surveyors and engineers, and team up with other architects (if needed) on larger projects.
We understand the necessity of teamwork and respect the particular skills of each member of the team during the design and building phases. Teamwork and respect is essential to a smooth, stress free running of a project.

PRIOR TO PAUL REED ARCHITECTS LTD
Prior to 2010
Projects included working on the award winning St Pancras Station redevelopment, interior design for Amex House, sports halls, coffee shops, penthouses, new build flats, new build houses, house renovations and conversions.
In 2010 after over 11 years of working for architectural practices in London and Brighton,
I decided to set up my own practice.
Projects include a large number of residential projects, including new build high quality design eco-houses, large scale house renovations, office interior design, loft conversions, extensions (of various styles), work on listed buildings and development within conservation areas... and Big Brother 2010.
In 2019 Paul Reed Architects Ltd was formed.
Now after many years of experience we only specialise in residential architecture.
YOUR PROJECT
A brief consultation will help develop your initial thoughts into a design brief. We will discuss your time frame, budget and above all your ideas, tastes and functional requirements for the project. From this we can look at the way forward and plan a route as risk and stress free as possible to create your dream home. We will then give you a break down of fees.
There is obviously no obligation should you decide not to go ahead with the project.
And our contact always has a break clause for any reason should you decide the project isn't going in the direction you'd like (though nobody has ever used this !)
